Use this Daily Restaurant Cleaning Checklist to regularly inspect your restaurant. This covers cleaning the front and back of the house, which includes the waiting area, dining room, bathrooms, and kitchen area.
1.1 Clean the walls if necessary
1.2 Disinfect the tables
1.3 Inspect and clean condiments and salt and pepper shakers
1.4 Clean all the counters
1.5 Clean seats and benches
1.6 Pass through the cloth napkins, tablecloths, and wait for the staff aprons to come through the washer.
1.7 Vacuum the carpets
1.8 Take out the trash and recycle
1.9 Clean the inside and outside of all garbage and recycling containers.
1.10 Sweep and mop the floors
1.11 Clean and disinfect your restrooms by:
1.12 • Disinfect the bathrooms
1.13 • Clean the sinks
1.14 • Empty bags of feminine hygiene products
1.15 • Taking out the trash
1.16 • Sweep and mop the floors.
2.1 Clean walls where there are splashes
2.2 Clean grill, griddle, stove, flat surface, and fryer. Be sure to get under the gear too
2.3 Change the aluminum lining on tops of stoves, grills and flat surfaces
2.4 Clean other equipment, such as coffee makers, microwaves, toasters, and meat slicers.
2.5 Disinfect prep area surfaces
2.6 Clean the heads of the drink dispensers on the soda fountains. The bars should clean the tips of the soda guns.
2.7 Wash utensils, small items, flatware, and glassware and air dry overnight.
2.8 clean the sinks
2.9 Wash rags, towels, aprons and uniforms in the washing machine
2.10 Refill soap dispensers and replace empty paper towel rolls
2.11 Sweep cold rooms and storage areas
2.12 Take out the trash and recycle
2.13 Sanitize waste disposal area and clean trash cans.
2.14 Sweep and mop the floors
